Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Movie

MY RATING: 3 1/2 stars

MY THOUGHTS: A very clever movie, in which everything combines, the script, the director, the actors, everything, to make an amazing movie. It has the attitude of the cartoon show, but the basic story is closer to that of the comic book. The custumes to a good job of bring the Turtles to life and the story is good enough.

On moment to look for is when it shows Splinter as a normal rat training with his master. A rat in a cage practicing kung fu, hilarious. Another thing to notice is the movie surprizing dark tone and mood especially for a PG kids movie. Many people regard this as the high mark in the Turtle Movies, but I personally beleive that the second movie was superior in many ways.
